NPC that Starts Quest: Melody's Grandpa
Description: You need to help Melody's Grandpa collect materials for a new magic wand. The Mailman has a package for Melody's Grandpa that needs to be picked up as well. Return to Melody's Grandpa when you've collected Golden Spire, Slotted Handle, Sparktail's Little Feather, Rare Valuable Stone, Magic Spices and retrieved the package from The Mailman.
Quest Walkthrough
You need:
- 2 Golden Spire
- 40 Gold
- 70 Magic Spices
- 4 Rainbow Stone
- 1 Slotted Handle
- 3 Sparktail's Little Feather
- 2 Rare Valuable Stone
- 40 Magic Spices
- 1 Parcel
First things first, head on over to the Post Office and talk to The Mailman to receive the parcel.
Rare Valuable Stones can be mined from Citrine Rock in the East Stars Plain. Sparktail can be fought in the East Stars Plain. It's Little Feathers are uncommon drops, so you may be fighting for a while. Bring some food to help out.
You can buy the guides for Golden Spire & Slotted Handle in Paris, and will have to make them. They used to be sold from the Meterial Merchant in Beijing but are no longer available. For the Golden Spires, the Gold is mined from Electrum Rock in the West Stars Plain and the Rainbow Stone is mined from Rainbow Rock in South Sun Land. For the Slotted Handle, Yellow Coal is mined from Citrine Rock in the East Stars Plain. Strong Bendy Material will be pretty hard to make, since you'll need to fight Gorillos in The Prairie which are strong at this point in your quests. The Sharpened Stone can be bought in Beijing (worth it compared to going back to Copper Deposits). Red Wood is chopped from Red Wood Trees in The Maze Plain.
The rest of the items can be bought from the Material Merchant and the Food Merchant.
Once you have everything, return to Melody's Grandpa.
