This term was coined in Aeria, when pet parties were a big hit. The reason "Nice" or "Good" was choosen was because one of the original pets looked nice or good and so any pet that was happy to be around it must be nice/good too.

Each of the following pets can be near each other to form a pet party. If a pet is not on this list, they are probably on the mean list. If you have a Nice pet and a Mean pet together you will get the angry pet emote. This means that both pets comfort levels will decrease until they are no longer near each other. Two nice pets together will give you the happy pet emote.
