I'd like to use the Community Portal to discuss and implement wiki-wide standards. We can use the Hello Kitty Online Wiki talk:Community Portal talk page to discuss ideas and come to agreements, and then use this page to detail the standards we're working towards. Over time, we'll end up building a "Manual of Style" (MOS), similar to, but in no way driven by, the original Manual of Style on MediaWiki and/or Wikipedia.

To Do List

To help us keep track of what needs to be done. If you want to do them feel free, but please give us a heads up so we can look over what you've done and move it to completed. Also, if you think there should be something added here (or clarified) please point it out via the talk page or Forum Thread.

  • Dream Carnival
    • Add the Pure Dream and Clothing Tickets
  • Item Mall
    • Figure out if the item names in the item mall are different from the actual item (ex: Melody Tee = My Melody Tee or vise versa)
    • Add Item Mall Avatars - in progress --AnyaAnya 00:47, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
    • Add the rest of the Boy Hairstyles (ask a GM to model)
    • Go through both the boy+girl sections and compile a list of items that are sold in both (so we don't make duplicate pages)
    • Go through the Category:Item Mall Icons and somehow (ask in the forum perhaps?) change to the in-game icons for these items. From this to this.
      • Get in-game images of the items as well. For now those icons are alright if we don't have an in-game image.
  • Resources
    • Double-check the rarity of each resource drop item for accuracy. The rarities were rushed to get that portion of the template to function.
  • Other
    • Find out if original skin tones have names and add them
    • Create an archives section for old news & game information.
    • Create a master drop list of all resource & monster drops in every city. As started here.
  • Pets
    • Update all the Pet Card/Encyclopedia images if needed - should probably wait until the line break issue is fixed
    • Add required player level and max stats as well as stat increase per level to every Pet Stats page.
  • Special Events
    • Finish adding Christmas Quests
    • Trash Buster Quests
    • Trash Buster Party Master List/Pinata List
    • Chocolate Mayhem Items/Quests
    • Hello Kitty's Birthday Cheer Quests/Items

Completed

  • Dream Carnival Stuff
    • Dream Carnival Bestiary (pictures/drops) --Rikki
    • Added all DC Resources --> Including Farm plants (Example)--Rikki
    • Added Dream Carnival General Goods Merchant -- added links to all items bought there--Rikki
    • Went through the Dream Carnival Quests and redirected Guide links to their pages. Created pages if not there.--Rikki
    • Pure Dream Collection (with appropriate name)--Rikki
    • NPC Collection -Ly 05:30, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

  • Item Mall Stuff

  • Merchant Stuff

  • Quest Stuff
    • All Sanrio Harbour Quests are up-to-date as of 10/30/10--Rikki

  • Tedious Layout Stuff
    • Go through all the pictures and make sure they're uploaded to this wiki
