NPC that Starts Quest: Hanamaru
Description: The mayor of New York has gone bonkers and is stuck in the Time Out Room for being naughty. Without the mayor, the denizens of this city have become demoralized and depressed. Only 5 combined essences of New York will restore the mayor. Fine the Essence of Art, Essence of Motion, Essence of Power, Essence of Hardiness, and Essence of Industry. Hello Kitty and her friends will help you obtain them, so go talk to them.
Quest Walkthrough
It is reccommended you get the essences in this order. Doing so will allow you to upgrade your Sparkler as you gather the items, which is extremely helpful.
- Talk to Hello Kitty to get a quest for the Essence of Art.
- Talk to Keroppi to get a quest for the Essence of Motion.
- Talk to Purin to get a quest for the Essence of Power.
- Talk to Kiki to get a quest for the Essence of Hardiness.
- Talk to Melody to get a quest for the Essence of Industry.
Once you have all the essences, return to the Bronx Outskirts and talk to Hanamaru.
Bug warning. While doing the sub-quests to earn the required essences, ensure that you have sufficient inventory space to receive all the rewards. If you do not, you may not receive the essence, but the quest will still mark as completed, causing the player to stall until a GM can intercede.
