The Train Conductor offers the only direct route to other cities if you have a train ticket. The train tickets are:
- Sunbright Express Diamond Ticket
- Sunbright Express Gold Ticket
- Sunbright Express Silver Ticket
- Sunbright Express Bronze Ticket
All tickets cost SCP and are located in the Item Mall with the exception of the Bronze Ticket. You will receive this ticket for free from a London quest but it can only be used once every 48 hours. This ticket is also limited to cities which you have previously explored afoot. If you have not ventured to Beijing, you will not be able to travel to Beijing until you walk there.
The Item Mall tickets are timed items, so they are not permanent. Silver tickets last 5 days, Gold tickets last 12 days, and Diamond tickets last 30 days. You can use these as often as you wish; there is no cooldown. All cities, regardless of previous exploration, may be visited.
At each station, the train arrives once every five minutes, and waits five minutes to depart. If you have missed the train, you will receive a red system status message indicating how long until the next train arrives. Once the train arrives, another red system status message will indicate that you may board.
To board the train, talk to the Train Conductor and press "Train Service". You will be presented with a popup window for your desired destination. If you are using a Bronze ticket, and have not discovered a destination, that destination will not appear. Once you chose your destination, a small cutscene will appear, which you can bypass by pressing ESC.
Each city's station has several displays to help you determine your travel: one display will indicate the boarding status, and another will indicate the current city.
