NPC that Starts Quest: Badtz-Maru

Description: You and Badtz-Maru fixed the Gadgety Doodad! Now it's "SPREADING GOOD VIBES". Badtz-Maru's new gadget uses up power quickly, and will need a recharge soon. Collect 500 Zappy Cell and retun to Badtz. You can complete this quest as many times as you want to increase Friendship and Money.

Quest Walkthrough

Pretty much every monster in New York drops Zappy Cells. Fight the monsters that take the least amount of hits, this will depend on the level of your Sparkler. Lower level sparklers should fight Cappys, 4-6 should fight Waddle, 7-9 should fight Vinny, 10-13 should fight Hobbes and 14-15 should fight Oswalds.

If you fight these in the Abandoned Bronx Tunnels, you're more likely to get Zappy Packs which are packs of 2 or 5 Zappy Cells. Please be aware that the monsters in the tunnels fight back, so you'll need good defense and some food before fighting in there.

Alternatively, you can forge any type of happy vibe back into Zappy Cells, the guides are located from the New York Merchant.
